Check out this extremely clean 1998 Scarab 22 Pleasure boat with a new 502 Big Block motor sporting 415hp.
This boat is extremely clean! The hull is excellent, with no stress crack or damage. It is in pristine condition for the year.
The boat is capable of speeds in excess of 65 mph. For a mid-sized boat, it is extremely fast
The boat had the motor replaced with a factory crate motor in 2014. It was installed by Hawkeye Boat sales in Dubuque. I have all the paperwork. The boat was water tested by Hawkeye boat sales, and the owner at the time took out only one time after the motor replacement. The new motor has approximately 4 hours on it. The boat does not have an hour meter on it, so the exact time on the motor is a guess, but it was only one water test, and afternoon on the lake, and a subsequent test recently.
The boat has sat in storage since 2014. When I acquired the boat, I drained the gas and all fluids. I put in new 93 octane gas and the boat fired right up. I have water tested it once since and the boat runs great. Everything works, with the exception of the depth finder. All the gauges, lights, trim, etc work properly.
The boat has a new Interstate battery.
A nice Eagle tandem axle trailer is included. The tires are in good shape, and the bearings have been serviced.
The cockpit cover pictured in in excellent shape. I also have a complete cover for the boat that is not pictured.
The boat features a Big stereo. It has two Amps, a capacitor, 4 subs and numerous speakers mounted in different locations. The stereo sounds very nice!
Not pictured in the photos are the under nose cushions. They are white and in excellent shape. I had a cooler, life jackets and dock bumpers stored up front and I did not want to get the cushions dirty.
The underside features a host of neon lights. The speakers also have neon lights mounted in them. The boat is impressive after dark.
The boat is not always stored at my dealership. Please call prior to coming to view it to verify it's location. You're also welcome to call my cell phone to discuss. 515-571-4401 Ask for Jeff.
